Error 422: URLs do not match the host
IndexNow refused the request because the URLs do not belong to the host, or the key does not match the schema IndexNow expects.
Common causes
- One or more URLs are on a different host than the one you submitted for.
- The host differs by www: www.example.com is not example.com.
- The key does not fit the schema, or the key file location is not on the host.
How to fix it
- Submit only URLs on exactly one host per submission.
- Enter the host as your pages are served, with or without www.
- Keep the key file location on the same host and directory as the URLs it covers.
