Error 400: invalid format

IndexNow could not read the request. The request had an invalid format, for example a malformed URL list or a broken JSON structure.

Common causes

• A URL in the list is not a valid absolute http or https address.
• The key or the host is missing or malformed.
• The request body was not valid JSON.

How to fix it

• Use full addresses that start with https:// or http://.
• Remove blank or broken lines from the list.
• Check the key against the key format: 8 to 128 letters, numbers and dashes.
